At 7o'clock in the Mornings, I am usually asleep, barring a few days when I get healthy lifestyle attack. I go to sleep really late - sometimes 1,2, even 3 am. I know it is an extremely unhealthy practice and I am soon going to get back to my original habit of getting up early. But with a toddler for company all the time, this is the only time I get for myself. He wakes up at whatever time I wake up in the morning and all plans go for a toss.
At 7o'clock in the Evenings, many times my hubby comes back from office. And the first thing we do is have my special chai. He loves it and I anyways love it all the time.
He says every single time "bohot achchi bani hai". To which I answer every single time "only for you".
Presenting our steaming hot cups of tea at 7 in the evening.

A cup of tea is a joy for ever.
ReplyDeleteI think I would end up putting different shots of tea only in most of the prompts ;-)
DeleteI almost did it for Need too.
This looks like such a nice picture! Great!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much. And I am thankful we had taken such pictures earlier.
DeleteA pic of a tea cup is always relieving
ReplyDeletegood day ;)
Oh thank you so much Afshan :-)
DeleteNeedless to say I am crazy about tea.
Nice to hear that he appreciates it every single time:) - The pic captures the moment perfectly!
ReplyDeleteYa I am glad some things never change. He kept saying it and I kept answering it the same way, and soon it became 'our thing' :-)
DeleteA cup of tea at 7 am!! :)perfect pic!! :D
ReplyDeleteI know the bright background looks like 7 am but actually it is about 7 pm. At 7 am these days, I am usually sleeping.
DeleteLove the cups. With a Toddler around, I am amazed you get time to drink hot tea. :D

You said it! The reason we are favouring these simple ceramic cups these days, is because the chai needs to be reheated in the microwave a couple of times before it is finished.
DeleteA cup of tea, anytime of the day for me.
ReplyDeleteMe too. And I actually have it any time.
DeleteTea is my fav too. Lovely cups and a neat kitchen... cool! :)
ReplyDeleteI know Shilpa. I remember your Ten on Tuesday about Tea :)
DeleteThank you, these are the best functional cups. I have to reheat my tea a couple of times, so I use these simple ones now.
It is used-to-be-neat kitchen before the infant entered toddlerhood. Now, most of the times all the stuff inside the trolleys are on the floor and the dangerous ones are on the counter tops. Atleast this one is relatively OK.
Romantic!
ReplyDeleteMommy Daddy need to keep their romance alive ;-)
DeleteThere is something about this photo that I have fallen in love with. May be a perfect shot and a perfect kitchen in the background?
ReplyDeleteAnd chai moments haan?? CUte one :)
Ya I know what you mean, kind of warm, is it? Even I like that about this picture.
DeleteNow that you are in the process of getting your house done, you will be involved with a lot of nitty-gritties about everything. We learnt so many things while doing the kitchen. We did it when I was in my 7th month. Wanted to get it done before the little one arrived. And it was a huge learning experience. It is a simple, functional modular kitchen but just the way we visualized :-)
show us ur kitchen ;)
ReplyDeleteHa ha...on a suitable prompt, may be I will. But really it is not that great. When things are not clear, they look more appealing than they actually are :)
DeleteYeah it is steaming! I can see the steam in the picture. Pretty neat mugs, btw :D
ReplyDeleteHa Ha Ha the steam makes the picture interesting.
DeleteThank you :)
Such a lovely habit you guys have. I must learn to sit at one place when the pati is having tea. I somehow keep loitering in the house. :(
ReplyDeleteYou just saw the cups. The story is we start together but then with a toddler around, we need to attend to him. Everytime I need to reheat my tea and many times his also :)
DeleteSuch a generous hubby to appreciate the simplest of thing....
ReplyDeleteEven if it is in the same words everytime, the appreciation really counts....
Oh come on, everything is mutual. We appreciate each other in what we are good at. Moreover, he believes in such small moments rather than celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, etc, etc.
DeleteYou take gorgeous pics Reema...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind words, but really that is because of the camera. With such wonderful camera these days, anybody can become a photographer :)
DeleteMoreover, this picture is by hubby.
