May Photo A Day : Day 6: Broken

This is the good-old drum beating toy which we all used to have in our childhood. So, we thought our kiddo must also have one. We bought this from a stall while visiting a beach town. And it immediately clicked with the little one. He loved it.

One fine day, curiosity got the better of him, and he thought pulling the hands and drum out would be a great idea. Since my husband is good at putting things together again and so that we don’t get into the habit of throwing everything that is broken or torn, I saved it.

Now once in a while the little one pulls out this toy and insists we make him do "dug-dug" again. And I keep telling him that he is the one who did “ye haath mujhe de de thakur” to the poor thing.

    1. These little devils are no less than Gabbar. The way they terrorize us - picking up things which can break or putting themselves in danger!
Yes, kids love simple toys and simple things. It is us, who make things complicated :-)
We always think on similar lines. I am sure you are also dying to flaunt your books, don't you? I am just waiting for the right opportunity.

t is their birthright! Kids must break toys! What fun is childhood otherwise. :) The dialogue brought on a smile, totally befitting the situation. :)
